Dedicated to our Mum, Lorraine Ann Gratton 15/01/1952 – 28/12/2022.
Originally from Horwich in Bolton, Mum moved over to the Isle of Man with her beloved partner Les Gardiner after falling in love with the island on their many visits as guest speakers at The Isle of Man Spiritualist Church. She eventually became Chairwoman and put her heart and soul into the place.
Mum was sadly diagnosed with Auto Immune disease 6 years ago which resulted in Pulmonary Fibrosis which meant her health gradually deteriorated but she kept fighting right to the end.
Mum’s humour, generosity, kindness and laughter will be missed by the many people whose hearts she touched.
Mum loved looking out from her bedroom across the sea and to the pier. She was really excited about the development of the pier so it is only right for her to remembered here in her happy place.
